πŸ“œ Program Terms & Payment Policy (Ontario)

These Program Terms & Payment Policy (β€œTerms”) apply to registrations for The Money Club.Org (β€œwe”, β€œus”, β€œour”). By registering and/or making a payment, you (β€œParent/Guardian”, β€œyou”) agree to these Terms.

πŸš€ Program Overview

Who is it for? Curious kids ages 11–17

How much? $1,500 per student (plus 13% HST)

How long? 4-week summer day program

Where? UTSU Student Commons, 230 College Street, Toronto, ON M5T 1R2

When?

  • Daily: 9:30am-3:30pm
  • Session 1: July 6–31
  • Session 2: August 4-26

βœ… Registration & Seat Confirmation

  • Submitting the reservation form indicates your intent to enroll.
  • A seat is confirmed only when payment is received:
    • Credit card: confirmed once payment is successfully completed
    • e-Transfer: confirmed once the transfer is received and matched to your registration code
  • If we cannot match a payment to a registration (for example, missing code), confirmation may be delayed.

πŸ’° Program Fee + HST

  • Program fee: $1,500 CAD per student, per session
  • HST: 13% (Ontario) is added to the program fee

Program fees are not charitable donations and are not eligible for donation tax receipts.

πŸ’³ Payment Methods

You can pay by:

  1. Interac e-Transfer (no processing surcharge)
  2. Credit Card (credit card surcharge applies)

⚠️ Credit Card Surcharge (2.4%)

If you choose to pay by credit card, a 2.4% credit card surcharge applies to help cover card processing costs.

  • The surcharge is shown before you pay and appears as a separate line item on your receipt.
  • The surcharge applies to credit card payments only (not e-Transfer).
  • The surcharge will not exceed applicable network caps (maximum 2.4%) or our actual cost of credit card acceptance.

πŸ” Refunds & Cancellations

βœ… Refunds requested on or before June 1, 2026
Refund requests must be emailed to [email protected] from the same email address used to register.

  • e-Transfer payments: full refund of the program fee + HST
  • Credit card payments: refund of the program fee + HST
    The credit card processing surcharge is non-refundable (it covers processing costs already incurred)

Program fees are non-refundable.

πŸ›‘ If we cancel a session
If The Money Club.Org cancels a session (for example, safety issues, venue issues, or insufficient enrollment), we will offer your choice of:

  • a full refund of amounts paid (including HST and any credit card surcharge), or
  • a transfer to another session (if space is available)

πŸ”„ Transfers Between Sessions

Transfers between Session 1 and Session 2 may be possible only if space is available and must be requested in writing at [email protected].

πŸ“ Student Registration & Consent Form Required

After payment, you will receive our Student Registration & Consent Form (including emergency contact details and permissions).
Students may not participate until the completed form is received.

πŸ—“οΈ Attendance, Missed Days, & Illness

  • Missed days do not create an entitlement to a refund.
  • If a student is sick, please keep them home and notify us by email.

🀝 Code of Conduct & Safety

Students are expected to:

  • follow instructor directions and safety rules,
  • treat others respectfully,
  • use materials and spaces responsibly.

We may contact a parent/guardian for early pickup if needed. In serious cases, we reserve the right to remove a student from the program for safety or behavioural reasons. (Fees remain non-refundable.)

Media preferences (photo/video consent) are collected in the Student Registration & Consent Form.

We may contact you by email or phone regarding program operations, scheduling, receipts, refunds, and required forms.

🧩 Changes to the Program

We may make reasonable changes to scheduling, instructors, activities, or materials. Any significant changes will be communicated by email.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada applicable in Ontario.

Over time, demonstrated results can enable:

  • Sponsorships
  • Grants
  • Institutional partnerships
